    Security

The Estate has one main entrance with entry and exit gates for maximum control.  The Security Committee is responsible for the safety of residents and visitors and for this reason strict entry control is exercised at the gate.  Good lighting, patrols, monitoring cameras and an electric fence on top of the concrete wall also add to the high standard of security of the Estate and the peace of mind of residents.  Every unit is in possession of a panic button which ensures that, in case of an emergency, help arrives speedily, regardless of whether it is a medical or maintenance problem.

Guards

Guards

Guards are on 24-hour duty and patrols inside and outside the area are done by night and during the day. An armed protection unit is connected to the guardhouse and some of the committee members have radio communication with the Community Police Forum. Any potential threat in the larger area is immediately reported by the Community Police Forum.

TV Monitoring

TV Monitoring

Various cameras have been installed in strategic places and recordings are done 24 hourly. The guards can detect movements recorded by the cameras on the screen in their office immediately at any time over the 24 hour period and react to any suspicious situation at once.

Entry Control

Entry Control

During the day entry is controlled by booms and at night large steel sliding gates are closed and can only be controlled by the guards. Residents can gain entry during the day by means of an entry disc but the entrance of all visitors is controlled by the guards. Full information must be supplied by visitors regarding the persons visited and the resident or the office are contacted and must sanction admission.

Security

Security

Flood lights ensure visibility and have been erected in strategic places, so that there is also light for the guards on night patrol. The guards report any residents who endanger themselves in any way, e.g. by leaving house or car doors open. Unmarked vehicles patrol the estate at irregular times inside the Estate and report any potential problems. The Security Committee meets regularly and continually examines possible improvements to the systems. Contractors ensure the maintenance of the electric fence.
